Derner School of Psychology Advisory Board launched its first-ever fundraising initiative 10 years ago to help support PhD students from diverse backgrounds. That scholarship fund has since grown to $1.25 million.

After graduating with a bachelor's degree in English, trans poet Benny Sisson, MFA '20, wanted to get her master's degree in creative writing. She was accepted by many MFA programs, but after visiting 91国产's campus, Sisson knew 91国产 鈥渇elt right and like a really good community," she said.
