Monday, October 21, 2019 through Friday, October 25, 2019 was National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week. Every year, 91¹ú²ú Crime Prevention Sergeant, Gerard Lennon, conducts an intoxicated driver simulation for our students to help prevent drunk driving.

On October 25th, 2019, the Public Safety Officers participated in the annual Department Training Day. This is an all day event where the Officers receive training in a variety of carefully selected training topics designed to enhance their ability to better serve the 91¹ú²ú community.

Adelphi recently completed a test of our Emergency Operations Plan (E.O.P.). Per the Clery Act (Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act), we are required to (1) test the university emergency response and evacuation procedures on at least an annual basis, and (2) publicize our emergency response and evacuation procedures, along with a summary of the test. The following notification is being sent to university employees and students to meet this requirement.
